Privacy Policy

Editra ("we", "our", "the Service") is a free, browser-based photo editor. All image editing happens entirely in your browser — no images or files you open or create are ever uploaded to our servers.

We collect minimal data to operate the Service:

• Usage analytics — page views, country, browser type, referral source, session duration. Collected via Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and GDPR-compliant. No personal identifiers are stored.
• IP-based country detection — on your first visit we make a single request to ipapi.co to detect your country so we can set the interface language automatically. We do not store the result; it is only used client-side to write a language preference to localStorage.
• Browser localStorage — we store your preferred interface language (editra-lang) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

We do not collect: names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, or the contents of any images you edit.

Editra does not set cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. The editra-langpreference is stored in localStorage (not a cookie) and is not sent to any server.

All images and canvases you create or open in Editra are processed exclusively in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Nothing is sent to our servers. When you close or refresh the page, unsaved work is lost. If you export a file, it is saved directly to your device.

Editra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
